Add Or Edit Cricket Teams (Canva Graphics)

1. Go to the Home Page of Canva & select Folders.
3. Once You have selected the teams folder, go to the most recent round listed and make a copy of that file. Name the new file for the upcoming round.
4. Next, edit your Teams Header Graphic. The areas to edit are - (Text) The Sponsor Of the Round, (Text) The Round, (Image) Sponsors Logo. Ensure the name of the sponsor and the round is changed.
5. Delete the existing Sponsors Logo By Right clicking with your mouse and selecting delete. Next, go back to your folders and find your Sponsors folder as shown below.
6. Find Your Sponsors Logo and Click on it, this will open the file in a new tab.
7. Once opened, Right Click on the Logo and select Copy.
8. Return to your new Teams File and Right Click on the header image & select Paste. This will copy your new sponsor logo over to your file that is work in progress.
9. Now, resize the Logo by moving one of the corner (dots) on the logo inwards to you reach the desired logo size and drag the logo with your cursor to the position of the previous sponsors logo and re-size again if required.
10. At this point, you can position the logo behind the shape above for a cleaner effect (by right mouse clicking & selecting send backward). Alternatively (only available on the Pro Canva Version), select Remove Background (See our other articles on how to remove the background on images & logos. You can also change the colour of a logo, if you have a dark background).

11. Next, move to the graphic below & begin editing the key features for the upcoming round. Firstly, ensure that the Title is changed to reflect the new round and sponsor of the week.
12. Next, edit any team changes from the week before. A handy tip is to always list the Captain first and the rest of the players in alphabetical order.
13. Select the last round's opposition logo, right mouse click & delete it.
14. To find your next round opposition club logo, return to the home page, select projects, then folders and you will find your Opposition Club Logos here.
15. As with the process for adding a sponsors logo as shown above, we follow the same process here. Select the folder and find the clubs logo and click on the file. This will open the logo in a new tab. Right mouse click and select copy. Return to your Teams file and right click mouse on the graphic and select paste. An image of the club's logo will appear and you will need to resize it.
16. To resize the image, repeat the same process as in step 9 above by moving one of the corner (dots) on the logo inwards to you reach the desired logo size and drag the logo with your cursor to the position of the previous Club's logo and re-size again if required.
17. At this point, (like point 10 above) you can edit the club logo for a cleaner more professional effect (by clicking & selecting the edit picture button (only available on the Pro Canva Version), and select Remove Background (See our other articles on how to remove the background on images & logos. You can also change the colour of a logo, if you have a dark background).

18. Next, repeat steps 4 to 10 above to remove last round's sponsor logo (right mouse click on the logo & select delete) and select your sponsor for this round. A handy tip, is to simply go back to your sponsors logo that was added above & copy paste it to the 1st Grade Team Graphic you are now working on.
19. Now repeat the same process for each of the teams ensuring you have completed the following checklist in full for each team:
- Confirmed what teams are playing this round
- Confirmed what round it is
- Confirmed who the Teams are playing against
- Confirmed and player changes
- Confirmed who the Round Sponsor is
- Confirmed Each Ground Location has been updated
20. Finally, download the image collection as shown below. A zip file will be generated to your computer. Select Extract all files and a graphic file for each team and your Team header will be generated. Alternatively, you can download each team 1by1 by deselecting the download all pages option.
